A 1940 western that tries to make outlaw Billy the Kid seem like a hero. Black and white. Available on VCD.

 

Crazy Horse And Custer

Shortly after being re-instated as a general, Custer is trapped in enemy territory with his future nemesis, Crazy Horse. They have to learn to trust each other in order to escape the Blackfoot territory. The film stars Wayne Maunder, Slim Pickens, and Mary Ann Mobley (before she won her Miss America title). 1967, Available on VCD.

 

Hell Town

A surprisingly funny John Wayne movie. John and his friend, a traveling "lightning rod salesman" (really a con man) help Wayne's brother to stop some cattle rustlers. Based on a Zen Grey novel of the same name. 1938. Black and White. Available on VCD. 

 

Jesse James at Bay

This 1941 western has Roy Rogers as an American Robin Hood helping local farmers keep their land from crooked railroad executives. Also features George "Gabby" Hayes, Sally Payne and Trigger.  This just might be the movie Peter Brady was watching. It makes Jesse out to be a good guy, instead of a bank robber. Black and White. Available on VCD.

 

John Wayne Double Features

Each volume contains two complete movies, and is only available on DVD.

Vol 1: The Angel And The Badman - John Wayne, Gail Russel, and Harry Carey star in this oater about a gunslinger that falls in love with a pacifist; The Lawless Frontier - John Wayne and George “Gabby” Hayes star in this 1934 western about a man out on a mission of revenge

 

King Of The Cowboys

Roy Rogers is a singing undercover federal agaent out to stop a gang of arsonists. 1943. Available on VCD.

 

Man Of The Frontier  - AKA Red River Valley

Gene Autry sings and saves a cattle company from ruin. 1936. Black and White. Available on VCD.

 

‘Neath The Arizona Skies

John Wayne stars as a macho man of the West that has to protect a young Native American girl. The movie also stars George “Gabby” Hayes, Yakima Canutt, and Buffalo Bill Jr. Black & white. Available on VCD.

 

The Painted Desert

Clark Gable and William (Hopalong Cassidy) Boyd star in this classic western‑romance. Boyd plays Buffalo Bill Holbrook, who falls in love with Mary Ellen Cameron (Helen Twelvetrees), whose family has been fighting with his for some time. Sort of like Romeo and Juliet on horse back.  Considered to be Gable's first major film role. 1931. Black and White. Available on VCD.

 

Roy Rogers Double Feature

This title has two classic Roy Roger westerns. Both are in black & white. The first movie is Young Bill Hickok - Roy stars as the legendary gun slinger, Bill Hickok. The second title is My Pal Trigger - Roy and Trigger team up for the very first time. Only Available On DVD.

 

Sagebrush Trail

John Wayne is falsely convicted of a murder. After he escapes from jail, he’s forced to hide out with a gang of real killers. 1933. Available on VCD.

 

Santa Fe Trail

Ronald Reagan gives a “presidential” performance as a young cavalry man in this 1940 movie. It also stars Errol Flynn and Olivia de Haviland. Available on VCD.

 

Under California Stars

Someone steals Roy Roger's horse Trigger, and it's up to him to track down the thieves. Personally, I think kidnapping Dale Evans would have made more sense. 1948. Color. Available on VCD.

 

Wagon Wheels Westward

Wild Bill Elliott stars as the famous Red Ryder (of BB Gun fame) in this 1945 western. 1945. Available on VCD.
